Beau used to go in and out of the house through the cat flap.

At one point Emma was pressing the buttons on the cat flap and programmed it to recognise her (Beau's) microchip, so she could come and go as she liked.

Fortunately, she is too big to get in and out of the cat flap now, but she does stick her head through it to try and get into the main part of the house when she is barred (usually during meal times as Emma has a habit of feeding the dog)
