Glasgow

Spent the day mostly sorting out travel/accommodation/itinerary for next weekend - Mr H went up to the allotment and brought back a small crop of courgettes and green beans but also a substantial quantity of Kerr's Pink spuds, which look very good.

We went over to Glasgow for the evening, as D's lovely colleague Sue was celebrating her 30th birthday. The pub was very close to Queen St station, a confusing building called Waxy O'Connors. It was a jolly gathering, however - mostly full of archaeologists blethering (see above). We got the penultimate train back to Edinburgh. Oh dear. But the last train would have been even worse.
