Back in Chelmsford

Finally home at 01.30am, straight to bed after a long winded flight-with-delay-meant-I-missed-the-bus-so-had-to-wait-nearly-an-hour-for-the-next-one kind of journey where interestingly, the bus fare from Stansted airport all the way to Chelmsford town centre was less that the taxi from bus station to front door.

A very quiet day enjoying the warm September sunshine.  Dad's garden looking very neat and tidy - bro and I still pay the gardener to cut the grass and trim the edges regularly.  Very pleased that the Fuchsias and Buddleia I planted in July have taken hold and are doing nicely.  The fuchsias are about to burst in bloom - every branch laden with unopened flowers - hope I catch the moment before going back to Istanbul.  Very happy to see Mr Bumble on the Sedum.  Rubbish photo of a nice moment.

Of course it wouldn't be a proper journey home with out the obligatory evening visit to the Fox and Raven for dinner and two pints of Reverend James,  with bro and his friend. Home Sweet Home.

Terrible internet - using a mobile broadband dongle with a speed of about 1mg every half hour, on a good day, so limited access to internet and therefore journals this week :(
