Life from a City

Colour Run!

This morning, my friend Ellen (pictured) and I did the Leeds Colour Run - 4km, and had people throwing dye at us every so often. It was enormous fun. I hadn't trained (Ellen does weekly Park Runs), but we still managed to run at least 3km of the course, which was great. And it was all in a good cause, raising money for a local hospice. Apparently the hospice costs £27,000 per day to run, but the care given is superb. This is a place where people still feel valued individuals, despite being at the end of their life. It is a place full of peace and hope - and we need more of them.
