Day Out

Just back from Somerset after a short break to celebrate R and our grandson's birthdays. They both chose a day out at the Fleet Air Arm Museum which we all enjoyed. It was nice to see Concorde (one of the first two test planes) and be able to have a look inside. It seemed very small! I remember seeing it fly over RAF Halton when I was doing my basic training. We all rushed out to see this futuristic aircraft and were suitably awed! So many years ago now. Both Concorde and I have aged a bit :-)
