...Saturday in Bellingham and a rainbow of vegetables and vendors, fruit and food and NOT living up to the city's self proclaimed nickname of City of Subdued Excitement! (extra)
The only subdued folks around were possibly us after sitting up nattering with tea after finally arriving courtesy of Lindsey and Alaska Airlines.
Punnets of golden raspberries (yes these blissful berries also come  in gold and black varieties) fresh picked and superplump local oysters hot of the bbq bubbling with parmesan and parsley perked up senses as did a flight of craft beers and lunch (extras).

A wander through the Whatcom Museum (the old and new buildings) and two fine exhibitions 'The Owl and The Woodpecker' and 'Helmi's World' give a taste of what is to come in the next few days with C and P in this very pretty and certainly not subdued!! part of the world.
