Afternoon Tea with the Directors

One favourite pastime of mine is to visit the Bluebell Railway in Sussex. This famous preserved heritage railway is delightful. On the third Sunday of each month the Great Northern Director's Saloon provides afternoon tea and tiffin for a modest fee. This is a wonderful source of relaxation in comfy chairs with silver service. Today seemed like a lovely day so I just got in the car and drove there on the off chance that there would be space ... Well as you can see from this shot (taken at Kingscote) there was and I enjoyed fine tea with fruit scones with jam and clotted cream. Thanks to the wonderful attendants who made the whole visit good fun and most relaxing.
