Danksound's Musing

The Rising Tide

We did go back to the Albert Embankment today and we got there just as low tide was in - plus loads of other people with the same idea!!!  I managed to get this picture people free and I have added two more pictures so that you get the idea of how large they are.  We left after a while as it was obvious that the pictures were not going to be completely people free unless we got up at silly o'clock in morning at low tide.  We walked along the river to Battersea and called in at the Battersea Dogs and Cats Home to have a look around.  We were quite impressed at how well the animals were looked after, at least the ones that were on display,.not that we are looking for either a dog or cat but we had never been in there and were curious.  It cost £2 to get in and look around.  There is also a gift shop and cafe.  We took the bus from Battersea to Victoria Station and got the tube back.  A good weekend on the whole as the weather was about the same as yesterday and no rain.  I hope you all have a good week ahead.

The Four Horsemen here.  If you scroll down you will see the pictures.

Yesterdays pictures is here in case you missed it.
