ripening

Glad I did my long run in yesterday's sunshine and not this afternoon as it was grey all day and the views wouldn't have been as good.
At long last the plums are ripening (at least 3 weeks late) so we picked about 10kg today and I've eaten some, bottled some more and made some jam - so that's half used up. There are still a lot left on the tree, these are a few of them, so I'll have to think what else to do with them
