Dad - WW2

Was sorting through some things the other day and came across a box that belonged to my grandparents. On opening it I found some medals of grandads and pictures of my grandparents on their wedding day. Also was some documents and medals of my dad along with this photo of him. He must have been about 20. He never talked much about his experiences but I knew he had been in North Africa and Italy and this book confirms that. One day I would like to trace the family history.
