A 1.44MB Floppy Disk Vending Machine!

Spotted this relic in Murphy Building at Victoria University - floppy discs seems a real blast from the past and I never came across vending machines selling them!
Mind you I remember using the larger 5 1/4 floppy discs on my first PC in 1990 an Amstrad 1512 PC. How quickly times change.
