A tree revealed

This tree has been in my front garden since I moved here over seven years ago. It has been so overgrown I have never really seen its bark. Whilst I was away the owners took drastic action with my trees and bushes and so revealed what looks like a silver birch.

Saw it tonight and in the sunlight thought it looked quite good. Hence the blip.
