On the footplate

I had the good fortune to have a chat with  Peter the Loco driver of the Eric Treacy 4-6-0 Locomotive at  Whitby  station. What a great guy, a volunteer who spends his spare time  on the North Yorkshire Railway.  He asked if I would like to step up into the cab. to have a look at the controls . I was up there in a flash.
