Pandora

Today's the day ........................ to lose your head

As we're on a break from trying to sell our house at present, we've been retrieving plants, pots and other items that friends kindly agreed to look after for us.

We were round at Mr & Mrs Penally's today, borrowing their scythe to do a bit of meadow-cutting.  We thought while we were at it, we would also take our Pandora and Aphrodite who have been on vacation with them for a while.  All went well until we were back home, unloading Pandora from the back of the car.  There was a bit of a cracking sound - and she completely lost her head.

Oh dear - but I'm sure it will be possible for Will to do a bit of surgery (probably involving a drill and a metal rod) and all will be well again.  It does make you wonder though, how all those Roman and Greek statues made it through a couple of millennia to survive to the present day?  Although I suppose they weren't hauled in and out of car boots.

PS  An extra shot today of another of our statues round at the Penally's.  She's the one on the left.  She has obviously made a new friend and they're getting on so well - that it seemed a real shame to take her away .............................
