Autumn comes to the valley.

The changes to the valley are subtle.   Colours are softer, more mellow.   The light seems to glow.   Summer’s brightness and warmth are receding and autumn is coming to the valley.   The wildlife is beginning to prepare for the cold days of winter, each little creature in his own way, and all the plants and insects know or sense that winter is coming.
