Autumnal Walks

I think this might be Lactarius acris, highly poisonous. It's beautiful though. Autumn is definitely here and has brought lots of fungi, although the trees are only just beginning to turn.
Today I had three walks: 8-10am to set out markers in preparation for scouts on Waterford Heath, which is where I saw this fungi. At lunchtime, a dog walk with Dawn in Panshanger Park and then this evening, helping the scouts plot grid references and find the markers. Half of the patrol I was with initially hadn't a clue, so I can say they learned a lot, but they found it difficult... because it was. Night nav def isn't a piece of cake!
Saw my physio today. I'm to try 'inclines' this week (I daren't say hills!) Feeling excited by progress.
