Our Special Day

After lots of preparation and planning the big day arrived ... Compete with sun! Everything ran to plan with hairdressers, makeup and flower delivery. I was tied into my dress (!) with the help of both boy's gf and also MOH ... Then we had a rush when number 2 son turned up late following football coaching and haircut complete with MD lunch ... But we made it to the church (even though sitting down in the dress was a challenge!!). Slight butterflies as the music played and I walked in but everything else ran like a dream. The service was beautiful followed by photos then back to the hall. We had planned an airdisplay by the Yak (to fit the aviation theme) but were blown away by our surprise of Maurice and his Mustang joining in ... The highlight of the day for us. The meal was wonderful and as shown in the picture my sister did us proud with the fabulous cake. The band were fantastic as always and our dance (& song) passed without a hitch. All too soon the day was over and we were whisked away to the Laverham Swan ... Where I begged to be taken out of the dress as it was killing me by now!! Lol!
