midsummer day ha ha ha!

Have spent the day listening to a soundtrack of rain beating down outside. This evening was monsoon-like in intensity! Tomorrow, we have an amber weather warning for our area. Son will return tomorrow evening from a badly timed 3-day outward bound trip. Hope canoeing was on the list, they couldn't get any more wet if they were swimming!

Anyway two things blipping has taught me. 1/ There's always time to stop and take a quick photo 2/ taking a photo in rain and high winds whilst trying to hold an umbrella is a tricky business!
