This picture is very impressive (and expressive) to me.
Many Japanese visitors come to be married here and photographers often come to Sandy Beach to take pictures of them with the waves as a backdrop.   This time, the photographer posed them with boards and had them run towards the waves, shooting all the while.  Clear directions had not been given, so the couple continued into the water and breaking waves and got tossed around a bit.  The lifeguards were watching and sent one down to bring the girl out (which she managed on her own), the guy had gone further in.  Lifeguard explained to photographer and girl that the red warning flags were up for a reason and did they have enough skill to be going in?  Probably not, and the guy, either.  The lifeguard then went in, while they watched from shore, and helped the guy get a ride in, using his board.   When the bogie boarder on the left saw the two on one board, he pulled up and let them take the wave.  Lifeguard is on the left, visitor on the right, looking stoked.

EXTRAs:
1.  Bird (looking rather gannet-like ?)
