The mountains certainly trap the rain clouds!

After a morning at Wastwater we decided to go to buy some Grasmere Gingerbread and then up the hill called "The Struggle" at Ambleside, and come back down Kirkstone Pass, which I was hoping to use as today's Blip, but as you can see from the extra photo, the weather decided otherwise.
We are on a caravan site on the Seaward side of the mountains, where the weather is usually better, and as usual, when we got back to camp, the sun was out!
