Kerkbrug

The Church Bridge (Kerkbrug) is a double iron drawbridge in the center of Leiden. The Church Bridge is located between the Hooglandsekerkgracht and Kerksteeg. The bridge was made by the Leiden iron watering DA Schretlen & Co. A company's logo is still visible in the building.

The drawbridge over the old Rhine was built in 1867. The first bridge was built around 1350 at the location.

The bridge is a monument.
