Bury Knowle House, one time home to Joseph Lock (described as a goldsmith and banker, and Lord Mayor of Oxford) is now the local library.

The highlight of today was the delight when the dentist finally numbed my troublesome tooth - rather less of delight when he started trying to remove the crown, and eventually started the root canal work.....

Am regretting the too many sweeties I consumed in my childhood - surely it wasn't all my fault that the dentist I used was above the sweet shop?
