Little Grebe

The Little Grebes are in great numbers on Qurum lake and the Flamingo have returned. This adult was chasing off all other Grebes and making that gorgeous whinning sound. I don't know whether they are protecting their fishing area or they are just very antisocial! Anyway a lovely bird to watch from the side of the lake in the parks lovely rest areas under a very blue sky again. I know I'm very lucky and it's also the weekend here.
