Fall Is Here

A wander around the garden this morning produced this little still life of Autumnal offerings:  Technicolour leaves, echinacea seed heads, grasses, wizened quinces, clematis seed heads, sedum, dried out yarrow blossoms, brittle ferns, a black walnut tucked into its green, tennis ball-like shell, and -- inexplicably -- delicate little pink crab apple blossoms!
