Macmillan Coffee Morning

The marvellous thing about working 'freelance' is the fact I can be free to eat cake for a good cause on a Friday morning. 

Since James was available (and fancied cake for breakfast at 10.30am), he came too despite being the only male and 20-30 years younger than anyone else there.  (He didn't stay long).

Very well done the folk that organised this worthwhile event, the last I heard £800+ was an estimate of the sum raised.  

I had to leave for an opticians appointment (and more Macmillan cake) before the end, but I believe I won a raffle prize too.

What a great day!  Have a lovely weekend everyone, and I believe the sun is going to shine for a week!
