a gourd day!

(I loved the look these gourds which we found in the Shambles Market Place. They would make beautiful autumn decorations for the house.)

Well after 2 years of exchanging comments I finally got to meet Dolly in person.
As Dolly lives in Newcastle and I live just outside Manchester it was agreed that we would meet about halfway which, as luck would have it, was York.
We had a lovely time, chatting and taking a few snaps; the time just flew by.
Dolly had said she would like to visit "The Golden Fleece", just opposite The Shambles where, she had recently discovered, her great uncle was once the innkeeper! The Golden fleece has a reputation as the most haunted pub
in England. Thankfully, we were only staying for coffee and had no plans to stay the night.
