Determination - Squirrel Blip Friday

From time to time the squirrels have another go at the feeder - without success. It is funny watching them try. The scratch marks on top represent valiant but useless attempts to dig through the feeder. Although they somehow manage to climb up the pole, they aren't quite long enough to reach down to the holes where the food it. So they stretch and they reach and then lose their balance and tumble into the shrubs to break their fall. Today, two squirrels decided they wanted in the feeder and were pushing each other out of the game as they climbed up the pole. It was quite the competition, but eventually they gave up and both left empty handed.
