From nothing to more than nothing

Going back through old shots that I want to keep... so using Blip as a personal catalogue.

One of my first assignments on an evening photography course - 'From nothing to more than nothing'... a lowly acorn becomes a massive oak. Very predictable I know... 

Not sure I nailed it, but at the time the depth of field was something I'd never really come across.
