Life with The Pinks

Woodland Walk

This is our spot. Our quiet place in the woods where we hardly ever see anyone. There's always good "sniffs" for Miss Peppa, and a good sense of well being for me. It really needed to be a beach walk today but the tides weren't compatible with walk time, and I don't get anything else done if madam hasn't been out first! Next week the beaches open up properly for doggies so perhaps we'll hold off until then.
The mini pinks had their European languages day at school today, so Miss Pink went dressed in colours of the German flag and Master Pink in Norwegian flag colours. They both came home telling us what a great day they'd had, both having tried "their" countries food, language and learnt more about it through guests in the class.
Master Pink had a doubly exciting day as he'd been to the secondary school to use the science lab. He had his first experience of using a Bunsen burner and burning chemicals to create a reaction. I think he rather enjoyed it.
At Rainbows Miss Pink and chums played some fun games all themed on Charlie and the chocolate factory. It all involved lots of food apparently.
I've been attempting a needle felted chicken this evening. I decided as Mr Pink was working, that I'd just go for it. It looks a bit more of chicken/goose cross at the moment!!
