Cocky Artist

We came across this pink and grey galah on our walk today and it seemed to be carving out parts of the tree with its beak! Very strange behaviour as it had done a few patches on the tree (see extra). It was quite fixated on what it was doing and I got up very close to it and it didn't flinch or seem worried at all, very unusual!!
