Weekend in TianJin

We keep saying we should have a weekend in TianJin. This weekend we finally got around to it. We took the bullet train from Beijing, and checked into a hotel for the night. This photo is of sugar sculptures on sticks they are eating but I think they are too nice to eat. We saw these in the old town, later we went to the italian concession for a gelato. It was quite a cheesy mock up of a european town but fun to see. In the evening we went for Thai food, followed by German Beer. Quite global now i come to think of it.
