My Best Efforts - Year 3

Sweet Honeysuckle.................

The sun came out for ten minutes, half an hour ago!! - it is now very overcast again and spitting with rain! Oh dear.

This is Honeysuckle growing over an archway. It smells
wonderful, especially in the evening . This particular plant
is almost evergreen.

It's proper name is Lonicera Caprifoliaceae, likes a loamy soil
in either sun or shade (which is useful) and can suffer from mildew. I believe this one to be Lonicera Halliana. There are about 13 or 14 different species, so quite a wide choice.

This weather is ridiculous - perhaps we should hibernate for a month or two and hope for an Indian Summer. My own garden is getting very neglected - it's too wet, too windy or too chilly!!

Quite good on LARGE
