Hiking up the Schilthorn

You might know the Schilthorn from the 1969 James Bond movie "On Her Majesty's Secret Service". Well, it offers nearly unbeaten views. 

We hiked up there and Djeili had the time of her life! The first snow of this winter and she so enjoyed rolling in it, tasting it, sliding down the hill... Her tail was a-wagging a lot!

The extra shows that so many tourists go up there by cable car that there is really a need to explain you shouldn't wear high heels when you walk off the platform! Nearly got to be my main blip, what do you think?

We had planned to go on to another peak but unfortunately when we walked over some metal stairs Djeili ripped out one of her nails :( She didn't yelp, limped or anything but we took her to the vet anyway. A clean rip-out fortunately. He disinfected it and gave her some medication to inhibit inflammation. Poor girl!
