Waiting for the Super Moon

We went down to the sea and gazed with expectation towards the mountains where the moon was due at 7.12pm - thick cloud. But all sorts of interesting things were going on westwards. Exhilarating with a brisk wind, curlews, cormorants and five egrets flying over head. We walked the headland and suddenlty there was the moon, large, orange and impressive peeping out from behind the clouds. Can I be bothered to get up at 3amish when the full eclipse is going on? I suspect not.

We are all wrecked. The men have worked non-stop on the van and the bed frame is now in, to son#2's huge relief; and I have cleaned the house, mown the grass and dug over a very stubborn bed.
