A lovely day to be out and about so we returned the grandchildren into the laps of their hungover parents and headed into Edinburgh to catch the MC Escher exhibition at the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art before it disappeared for good. Unfortunately other people had the same idea so the queue was rather long. I left Mrs Rex in the queue while I went off to pass the time photographing the Escher maze installation (see extra photo). If nothing else, it stopped me moaning about having to stand in a queue.
As usual no photography was allowed in the actual exhibition so I had to improvise in the toilet, which is not something I usually do, and you don't half get some funny looks in the process.
