Super Blood Moon

Set the alarm for 2.30am and  this must be my earliest ever blip.

The Lunar eclipse was amazing but very challenging to shoot.  I would never have believed that celestial movement would be visible on a 1 second exposure.  My earlier ones at 5 seconds were really blurred with visible star trails due to the earths rotation so I had to whack up the ISO.

Technophobe and I were on the lawn in front of our house trying not to wake the neighbours.  The cats thought it was a very exciting change to the routine!
