why was there never a spidergirl? There was a SuperGirl movie, and I am assuming comics too.

I always get a huge thrill seeing the kid doing the monkey bars and climbing frames, as her spidey-senses are a bit incorrect and her body/brain can't process fine and gross sensory information properly. So seeing her be confident and manage these things, and enjoying them is such a pleasure for me.
