Mono Monday - Past

This old photo is a little link to my past - this is my Grandad as a young man proudly wearing his RAF uniform. As far as mum can remember he was a regimental Pipe Major in the RAF - she thinks it may have been 603 squadron but as she is now 86 her memory isn't what it was.
Grandad was born in 1898 and died in 1979 - I really wish I had asked him more questions about his life and new more about his past.
I thought it would make a good blip and it also linked to the fact that my husband and 2 sons wore their kilts to the Rugby match yesterday - Grandad would have been proud of them.
