MonoMonday87: PAST

I wasn't completely sure of what I was seeing. Attached to the oak tree trunk were many individual Annual Cicada exoskeletons, which their owners had shed and left as they moved on. I was happily recording them for posterity with my iPhone when I spotted this interesting duo. I've not seen anything like it before and I've seen lots of Cicada exoskeletons! I will simply leave the remainder of all of this up to your fertile imaginations.
I hope this doesn't offend too many of you... ;) This blip was originally in color...see the 'extra photo'...but then I remembered that it's MonoMonday, so we're gonna call it: 'This Ship has sailed...it's all in the Past'! ;)
