Faces #71: Endeavour actor @abigailthaw

As long-time fan of all things Inspector Morse - I even wrote a book about the original Colin Dexter novels and subsequent hit TV series - I couldn't resist attending the Endeavour panel at the Radio Times Festival.

Afterward I got to chat briefly with Russell Lewis, who created the Inspector Morse prequel and has written every episode, and to actor Abigail Thaw, who plays newspaper editor Dorothea Frazil in the show.

Of course, Abigail has another link to the Morse legacy - her father John won two BAFTA awards for his stunning portrayal of the Oxford inspector in the 1990s - and she discussed that on the panel with wit and great affection.

Being a kind soul, she talked to fans afterwards and posed for photos. As a result she's now #71 in my portrait project here on Blipfot - click the tag #100Faces below to see more.
