Shrewsbury

Bit more of a local day today, had some shopping to do in Shrewsbury so took a few snaps along the way.
This Tudor house marks the entrance to Shrewsbury Castle. It appeals to me because it is different, don't often get to see a yellow one!
There is some beautiful architecture in Shrewsbury and it's only since taking up photography that I have managed to tear my eyes away from shop windows and actually look properly around me. I have walked places I didn't know existed and discovered just how much Shrewsbury has to offer a dedicated blipper!

My extra photo is of a print that I bought that I have just had framed. There is an exhibition running at the Coffee House in Shrewsbury, right opposite the yellow house, showing work of brilliant local photographer Stewart MacKellar who specialises in outdoor and extreme sports photography. It is running until Friday and is well worth a visit if you are in the area.
I have finally got round to updating my blog, so do pop over and have a look if you have a few idle moments.
