Snail

After a morning meeting I had to get out in the sunshine for a short walk. I almost didn't photo this but am pleased I did, and I didn't see the snail until I uploaded it.
Once home I decided it was time to dig up the last of the potatoes, I've had a reasonable crop this year (should last a few more weeks) but it would have been better if it wasn't for the slugs! Anyone know a way to stop them?
