Bay of Biscay Bound!

So today was the start of my next whale and dolphin adventure. This one I am not taking alone :) Dad and Daniel are coming along for the ride too.

We left Bedale in a mad rush due to a burst water main and set off on a epic journey to Portsmouth, via London. Thankfully all went well an we arrived at the ferry terminal in time to board Brittany Ferries' Pont Aven and meet the ORCA team (our guides for the few days). This photo was taken after we left Portsmouth.

Chris Packham was joining our dedicated whale watching trip across the Bay and a talk from him and the ORCA team in the evening got me very excited for the next day. Out of 87 cetacean species in the world a total of 31 of those can be seen in the Bay of Biscay! BRING IT ON :D

Lets get spotting!
