Kalevankangas Cemetery

Today is the longest day of the year. The Summer Solstice was in Finland at 2:09. The declination of the sun on the northern Summer Solstice is known as the Tropic of Cancer.

The Kalevankangas Cemetery in Tampere was established in 1880. My grandparents are buried here. Beautiful old trees and lot of flowers at funerals. I like to walk old cemeteries. This is the oldest part of the cemetery. Some gravestones have bullet holes from the 1918 battles.
