On Broadway...

...Hill.

Mr E and I went to Lower Slaughter this morning but couldn't get parked, as it was so busy! We didn't want to go back home, so we went a little further to Broadway Tower, a folly built on the top of Broadway Hill. 
It was a bit windy but we sheltered behind a wall and ate our picnic, watching people go up and down to the tower. The views were incredible but the air quality was appalling, so I didn't bother with photos.

Shortly afterwards, we returned to Lower Slaughter and caught the late afternoon sun.
