A beautiful service in a very special little chapel - St. Margarets Chapel, Edinburgh Castle.  The chapel is supposedly the oldest surviving building in Edinburgh.  It was constructed in the 12th century.  In 1314 Edinburgh Castle was captured by Robert the Bruce and all the buildings were destroyed except for the chapel.

It is normally open to the public but we were allowed 30mins in private for the service.  When we came out the tourists were all waiting with their cameras!  Perhaps they thought we were famous....

See extras for a beautiful stained glass window inside the chapel showing St Margaret of Scotland, added to the chapel in 1922.
