Cromarty Trip

Today we headed up round the villages of the Cromarty Firth.  A chance to let Mrs F see the places associated with my time up here last year.  We even met a number of the guys working at the contact centre in Alness.

This was the view from Nigg Point this morning looking down past the line of oil rigs moored in the Cromarty Firth.  For me this is real evidence of the changes in the Scottish oil industry in the last 12 months.  A sorry sight to see all of these giant machines lying idle.

On a lighter side dinner tonight included the famous cheesecake desert that cost me to gain a few pounds in weight last year.  Mrs F thoroughly enjoyed it.
