Bees on Red Flower

The bees are the main point of this image--the flower itself was not quite this otherworldly color; I've tamed a bit from the original but it didn't seem appropriate to go further. We were on a midday outing with our friends from France to the Bridge of Flowers in Shelburne Falls, Mass., which visitors always enjoy. We also stopped by the PVPA's exhibition (it's my photography club) at the Salmon Falls Gallery, which is superbly hung.

(Backblipped the next afternoon.)
