Lens drop

It landed with a bit of a hefty bonk and then rolled across the deck into the dark.  I had a glass of wine in my hand at the time, so I couldn't catch it before it hit the deck, or go leaping off after it. 

I let it settle.  Threw the wine back and went off in search of something more comforting .. like ... moonshine.

Had a sit down and tried not to cry.

I found it eventually.  In the dark.  Found it cos I trod on it in the dark.

It's got a righteous rattle to it.  It still screws onto the camera properly.  But it takes paintings now, rather than photos.

Or maybe that's just me
