Early start

Post-graduate research (PhD) students registration and first part of their induction programme. This meant I was on campus before 8am to help get everything set up and in place to ensure everything ran smoothly.

The early start was well worth it as I got to see this lovely sight over one of the fields next to the campus.  I'm almost tempted to have another early start (but not tomorrow) to see what the mist is like over the Broad.

The day was glorious, hot and sunny (bit scary for 1st October) and around 200 students were welcomed to the first stage of their journey toward PhD.
